Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami Downtown/Brickell

Booked 2 queen rooms because 4 of us are rooming. Our flight was delayed and we called to advise our flight was delayed and confirm our room would still be there. Arrived and the had only a king room. Manager was "not there" and did not answer the phone either. Its absolutely unacceptable that the room available for us at arrival is only a king bed and not the 2 queen beds we booked to have. Nothing was offered to help or fix the issue either. Oh. Also a as a Hilton honors member — even more ridiculous!

Room is quiet and comfy. Bed and pillows were very nice. Breakfast was good. Hotel is within walking distance to places to eat and Publix. My only complaint is I didn't have hot water. I would stay here again.

Positive: cleanliness Negative: no restaurant. had a shelf to buy mircowave food and a smooth shop which was closed when we arrived around 7 pm. its a 15 min uber to an actual restaurant.

The hotel property and vicinity to Downtown Miami was awesome. Stay was a short couples trip. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast was tasty. Usually hotel breakfast is a hit or miss but the breakfast tacos were the plus! The service at the front desk and valet was a little slow but the staff were nice. Would recommend!

When booking online, the quoted rate was $300, and the site even requested card details at that time, leading us to believe the reservation was confirmed at that price. However, upon arrival, we were informed the total had increased to $400 — including a $50 holding fee, which we understood. What was disappointing is that our card wasn’t charged in advance, and the price change was only disclosed at check-in. As a Gold member, I expected a smoother experience and a level of consistency that reflects the brand’s standards. I trust this feedback will be reviewed accordingly, as we truly value the brand and hope our experience can be taken into account for future consideration.
