Homestead Park Campground

I never thought I would like camping, because of this place I am in love with it, The smaller grounds allow peace of mind to let my child play, the people are fun and friendly, and the owners treat you like family.

Our son and his wife tent camped here and invited us up to visit over the long weekend. The site was oin a new location on the property and very open (no trees). We enjoyed the time we visited with them and the people camping around them were very friendly. I visited the small store / check in building. There wasn't a lot of supplies available, but some very basic necessities were there for sale. I spoke with one of the owners who was very friendly and easy to talk with. She provided some history of the campground and shared their visions of the future. The bathroom / shower building was clean and well maintained, at least the Men's side. (Not sure of the woman's) There is also a laundry room available in the same building. The pool unfortunately was closed due to the fact there had been a

We had a Great stay there. The owners went above and beyond to help us after a very eventful trip cross-country to get there. The whole staff were very pleasant, the facilities were very clean and well maintained. They always tried to have something happening to entertain the campers and put on a Spectacular 4th of July fireworks display. I've camped there off and on for over 40 years. Keeps getting better. Beautiful new store, nice pool, friendly owners who are always working to make improvements. Very friendly campers. Many family-friendly activities are planned all season long.

Had a great weekend there. Beautiful pool. Owners are very nice and helpful.
