We had an excellent stay here when we visited the Black Hills area. The location is extremely easy to get to right off of i90. Our room was a 2 queen bed studio. There was ample room for a family of 4. We had a nice fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen and bathroom sink. Plates and utensils were furnished. It was very clean, well lit and smelled fresh. Space was greatly utilized as the desk rolls out and the bathroom door is a sliding door. Also having end tables on both sides of the bed was a nice plus so all our devices could be charged. | The Breakfast was fantastic. There is a lot of variety. I am someone who relies heavily on reviews before booking a hotel, regardless of star rating. Out of all the hotels in the area, I chose this one specifically because it was the only property without any reviews mentioning bed bugs. One major plus of the stay was access to the water park, which was a lot of fun and definitely a highlight and it is pet-friendly. The room itself was very spacious and included a full refrigerator and dishwasher, which felt like a great value for the price. Initially, I would have rated this hotel closer to a two-star experience; however, the beds were comfortable and the location is excellent, with many food and shopping options nearby. My main concern was cleanliness. It appeared that the beds and fresh towels may have been the only items thoroughly cleaned.

Positive: The hotel rooms were really nice, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen could have been bigger. Negative: The breakfast was not that great. Our hotel room unfortunately only had a shower stall and no bathtub for my children; my daughter slipped in the shower. The frying pan and pot were too small to really cook anything in.

Well when I went to put my toiletries away in the cupboard. I was greeted my 2 fist full of hair. I called down when would house keeping be coming please clean the hair…needless to say they didn’t show up for 2 days. So my husband just cleaned it. And when they did show up the lady with the all blonde hair didn’t even acknowledge my son who said hi to her….the younger lady was nice but the older lady was clearly annoyed and upset we asked if they could vacuum, get fresh towels and change out the garbage, j guess they are used to. Just changing the garbage baskets…on top of that. They charge you the full bill the very next morning, and then charge you a $60 deposit for the stay. So just be ready for that. We paid almost 300$ for a room. Traveled over 2 hours, to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. To get to the motel and find out the water park will be shut down at 7:30 because someone privately rented it out. That gave us less then 2 hours to swim. The area was so packed, you couldn't even fit into a pool, or get a chair. Its pretty heart breaking that we wasted a trip there just to do nothing. We waited in line for one tube for the slide for well over 30 minutes. There was so many people there, you where bumping shoulders with everyone. The Sauna had I bet over 100 people in it. You couldnt even dip your toes. And it stayed like that until it was time to get kicked out. What a waste of time and money. Idk if I would ever come back. Staff was great. The rooms where great.
