Honestly, this hotel was great until I sat on the sofa. I had a king suite +bedroom with 2 adults and multiple children. The sofa and the sleeper were unusable as somewhere to sleep. I'm was here for over a week so I had to go buy an air mattress. The sofa is the firmest, honestly hardest, sofa I've sat on. The sleeper is incredibly hard. Firm isn't accurate. They do not offer cots or anything to help. My children couldn't sleep on the sofa or the sleeper. Update: the staff have been exceptional. I edited my review. The front desk team and the kitchen team have been extremely professional, friendly and helpful. They've been very accommodating of my family. Breakfast is consistent, simple, but good. This is a new H2S right off the interstate. The property is well done with large, ample rooms. The breakfast is your typical Hilton morning fare and it was hearty.||The service is uneven but I am sure they will even it out when they are fully ramped up.

I recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Hernando, Mississippi, and I have to say I was genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews I read beforehand. The hotel is brand new—it only opened in November 2025—so I honestly question the validity of some of those comments. My experience was completely different. The property is immaculate. Everything feels fresh, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms are well-appointed and thoughtfully designed. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you might need—plates, mugs, utensils, dish soap, and even a sponge, which is a nice touch for longer stays. During my stay I decided to allow my sisters to use the queen beds and I used the sofa bed. First I am going to say I have never sat on such a hard sofa in all of my hotel experiences. After pulling out the bed, the mattress was just as hard. The most uncomfortable sleep I've ever had. I probably was able to sleep 3 hours after along road trip from Chicago. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. Overall very nice hotel.

This is not a 5 star hotel.. The breakfast was old orange juice, yogurt, yogurt extras, and waffle mix. Told the attendant, and she just added water to it instead of getting fresh mix. The pillows were flat with hard, firm beds. The room is decent size, and the shower was decent size, but you will find other people's hair on the floor of the bathroom and shower items. Plus side is that it doesn't have bed bugs or roaches yet. Be careful in the elevator. Sounded like it was about to fall apart and hit the floor. It kept making a loud crunching sound, so we took the stairs because no thank you. Would I stay here again? No. Not for the $16. Not worth it.
