I was broke down and the owners went out of their way to help me. Very good price and a very clean Hotel

If you are ever in Southeast South Dakota and need a place to stay, the Home Town Hotel in Willow Lake is a comfortable, unique place. It was constructed in 2011 after a fire in town (google it, it's a cool story) with a design and layout that looks like an old western saloon. The rooms are very well maintained and the folks that run the hotel are awesome, you'll feel like you're staying in your own home. They provide a morning breakfast and have a "kitchen like" room on the second level and a living room on the first to give you a little more lounging options. This hotel has a great atmosphere giving the feeling of the early settler times. I give 5 stars because of the price. The rooms are large and clean. Understand she doesn't have enough business to offer more for breakfast so that is a bit, well I like juice or fruit in the morning and she just has kid's cereal or a pre packaged pastry. Still a great place to stay.

This place was great. We were going through the state late at night and found the hotel by accident. Hotel and all the amenities seem brand new, and the owner greets you at the desk. We loved the spacious room, and decor. If you are in the area and nee a place to stay, this hotel is a no brained. Prices we awesome, service was great, will stay there again.

The room was very clean and nice! There were things available for breakfast. The only thing I would suggest is to clean the kennel room. We swept spider webs and cleaned out the kennels before we put our dogs in the cages. We did like that it was heated.
