Holy Trinity Monastery Guesthouse

Beds are small, rooms are small and not air conditioned, but you aren't coming to the Monastery for a comfortable room. You're coming to experience what the monks live with every day. I do recommend using the guest house. It's an eye opening experience that is best paired with an all day visit.

Quite old, but has been upgraded and renovated with new carpet and big fridge on the 2d floor. There's a small kitchen/ laundry room on the ground level where pilgrims can wash / dry their clothes if needed. Good to have separate small fridges in the kitchen as well. Shared shower/ bathroom with modest but clean and freshly washed bedding. Every room is equipped with different Orthodox icons for daily prayer, free Wi-Fi and parking. I would strongly encourage to bring your own drinking water as the water quality is unfortunately not the best, as well as your supplies for washer / dryer so you can do laundry on site. Overall it is an Amazing and peaceful place to stay when you visit the Holy Trinity Monastery.

Simple dormatory building with very modest, lightly furnished rooms meant for contemplation and humble simplicity. Guests are asked to be respectful of the quiet space of the Guest House accomodations. Shared bathrooms. No luxury, not even towel hooks in the bathroom. Get used to less. This is one step up from primitive camping, but it's amazing. This isn't a hotel. This is a dormatory and everyone else expects near-silence. It's definitely not for everyone. They do provide WiFi, which was a surprise. Glad to not be camping in the rain. Michael is a very nice host/caretaker.
