Great location and clean room but if you're okay with not getting much rest and hearing your neighbors yelling and having sex all night than this definitely the place to be. I stayed a weekend and both nights one room was arguing and having sex all night while the woman was just yelling baby all night while having sex. The second another couple same issue up having sex all night and I couldn't sleep comfortably both nights. The rooms are really clean. The room doors are thin as paper so you will hear everything little thing your neighbors do and they will hear everything you do just as well. All I heard was Ahhh Ahhh Ahhh all weekend and all night. I couldn't sleep and was waking up up out my sleep several times. They don't turn the AC off at all I was kinda cold ❄️ during my stay. My rating is in regards to a loss of money. Related to last week's snow storm in NY. I've called the Hollywood Sunrise more than 24 hours in advance to notify that jetblue canceled my flight and that I can't make it for a two night stay. No one answers the phone, ever! It's an unattended business. Then, I'm getting a text from a bot. How can they help. Absolutely, no one to speak to. I text my issue. Response is no refund. My response was, I don't want a refund. Please, change my days of stay. Next text refers to cancelation policy. No refund, no changes. Jetblue changed my flights. Another hotel attached to this trip changed my booking in a second. Booked a package deal trip on February 4th with a stay at this hotel from Feb 17-22. February 11, my mother fell ill and I had to make the decision to cancel. Priceline falsely represented themselves and after purchasing the protection coverage, when I called them that day, they abruptly cancelled the coverage, leaving me with recourse to recoup any expenses. I decided to contact each vendor included in the package to plead my story and emergency cancellation. The airline gladly refunded me in full….no questions asked. The car rental company gladly refunded me in full… no questions asked. Then I contacted the owner of Hollywood Sunrise Hotel. My cancellation would mean strong a $650 refund. They absolutely refused. I had a decent stay at the studio efficiency i rented. My priorities were safety, cleanliness and proximity to the Beach and restaurants. First, there isn't a front desk available. It's more like an airbnb studio however checkin instructions were clear. I was contacted via text msgs prior to check in. Post check in, no communication whatsoever, I had a simple question and no answer. The unit was very clean, plenty of towels. Cups,plates and cutlery provided. The beach is steps away like 1 min walk. Did not use parking bc I know how terrible it is on Hollywood beach and unnecessarily expensive. I rather UBER.
