Hollywood Sands Resort

I booked a hotel a week in advance through Priceline and was told the check-in time was 4:00 PM when I contacted them. When I arrived at the hotel around 5:15 PM on the day of check-in, the front desk was already closed. When I tried to reach the emergency number, a lady answered and told me that the hotel had been overbooked and that there were no rooms available. She told me to go find another hotel nearby.

What a hidden little gem!!! I exchanged into this resort through my timeshare... Why was I pleasantly surprised!!! There were four of us girls in the group, we had a one bedroom condo with a full kitchen and a Murphy bed in the living room. Amazing views! And steps from the beach! One free parking spot.

We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the room and the location. It's a compact room with a fold down bed, but the unit does give you everything a couple needs to hang out. The kitchen and bathroom were recently renovated. The pool is small but good for a quick dip right by the beach. There's a separate hot tub and grilling area behind the reception building. Overall it's a great location to be able to enjoy the beach, restaurants and bars, Beach shops and the three mile boardwalk.

We were able to check in early, most accommodating and courteous front desk staff. Our unit was clean and bright with lots of windows to look out at our amazing view. Just a few steps to the most gorgeous beach which we enjoyed immensely despite some wind & rain.

lf possible, try for the east building Second floor. Great balcony, views and privacy. We were lucky to get room 11 for the week of 4th of July. I grew up in the area and had the best time revisiting Le Tub, Opa, the Broadwalk activities and experienced 4th of July fireworks on the beach. The accommodations were great. Service was friendly and accommodating. We had everything we needed at our fingertips whether we chose to eat in or dine out. We even did a half day drift boat fishing trip 3 minutes away. Can't say enough good things about our week at Hollywood Sands Beach Resort. I will be back with my family and recommend it highly.
