Hollywood Beach Seaside

Our first time check in this hotel for our vacation. The room is nasty. No hot water for a shower. when we pull sofabed out, the cockroaches 🪳 on bed running out omg. The dirty stain under sofabed is so gross. And the breakfast was awful, they used powder orange and maybe the milk too. They breakfast place don't look sanitation, for the drink and the cereal look like moldy. We did know you can only get one plate and you can not go back to get any extra. My daughter go get extra toast, the African American lady tell my daughter she can't get refill, but my daughter in she African Americans she go in and get extra food, a lady didn't say anything to my daughter in law, but my daughter can not get extra toast. My wife broke her ankle on the steps up to our room and they still made me pay $4.50 for a bag of ice. I mean it's $4 so whatever but the complete lack of caring when she was injured on their property was crazy.

The reception is run by complete crooks. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures and is worse than cheapest motels. They charge you without authorization even in reception they confirm nothing will be charged for cancelling reservation after looking into the condition of the hotel.

We had a horrible experience, our room had a huge bubble on the floor lifting up. There was trash and screws from construction right outside of the room. We were told the pool was open but you had duck tape signs super ghetto saying closed due to Covid. We finally make it to the pool and some guy is wielding sparks everywhere. Then you had pool crashes smoking weed while my daughter who is six was trying to enjoy the pool. I’ve never been more disgusted.

The staff working there is in complete chaos. No wonder, they say they own 18 hotels in the area, and have consolidated to ONE office where three over-worked kids take upon themselves to best practice disorder, confusion and condescend customers. When It took a good hour and 10 minutes to get checked in.... I voiced my concern and was quickly and snarly answered by the shortest guy in a security costume: "quit being a cry-baby, I kicked someone out, so you can get a room. and you see theses other people in the corner they've been here for 4 hours waiting!" WOW, I asked if the waiting customers were happy, and they said they were trapped there because they pre-paid (like i did) through the app I used HotelTonight.
