Hollyhill Motel

What motel stop renting rooms at eleven o'clock and cash only, apparently this one since the owners is out of the country the manger that a joke of one thought she was going to better than Carolina but she is worse, guess she is passed out by eleven since her and husband drinks all the time, the cleaning in the rooms sucks, only time these rooms was clean like the was supposed to was when Linda was cleaning the room, if you want a room clean thoroughly cleaned asked if Kenny and his wife cleaned it, don't expect clean blankets either sheets is washed but stained but theblanket itself doesn't get washed at all.. that just plain out nasty , Kenny and his wife need to hire another cleaning person that would actually cleaned the rooms like it supposed to be clean

We were driving back after the eclipse and started looking for a bed too late - by that time, all the accomodation options that we had shortlisted were full. By the time we got to Hollyhill Inn, we just wanted a bed.||||Cons:||- the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke (this is a BIG one for us)||- instead of a toilet brush, our room had a plunger... ||- wifi didn't work in our room, only outside||- the inn provides toilet paper and soap but no other toiletries||- our room was equipped with only one bath towel (another one was available when we asked)||||Pros:||- at 45 usd/night, it was at least relatively cheap ||- after the initial shock, we found the place was actually quite clean, although the worn and miscolored furnishings still looked terrible||- the shower was properly decent, eas

Very affordable and very friendly folks! I've read over many of the reviews, both positive and negative, true and untrue. I have stayed in many motels and while this isn't a Best Western or the Hilton it's worth the money ($45 nightly). I've stayed as long as 3 days and was never disturbed once or had any problems. As the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for."

The rooms need a lot of work and the beds are a joke. They give one towel and wash cloth what we're but they do keep them clean. If your there more than a few days you have to ask for everything.

This place is one of the only accommodations in town that is a last resort for any traveler or local resident the management) owners have nothing but distain for their customers and only know one color GREEN. They have refurbished the place with new paint , carpeting, TV's etc there are no vending machines on the premises and your neighbor could likely be a drunk or a dealer the local law enforcement officers are up here daily
