Holly Hill Motel

The parking lot was plowed and people were shoveling more snow when I checked in. But the parking space blocks are completely black and still covered in snow. A tiny bit of yellow on the ends but still invisible. I tripped on one while unloading my car. Thought I broke my knee. No. Just injured real bad. This is the SECOND time here in a month where the snow covered parking blocks cause me to trip & get hurt. I’ll never stay here again. There are other local places for about the same cost with better accommodations.

I stayed in room 3 and was quite satisfied. I felt VERY SAFE & SECURE. I would stay again without a second thought. Well worth it for the budget-minded. The modestly sized room and bathroom were clean. The A/C & Heater wall unit is huge… A/C can get crazy cold. Recent paint, flooring, fixtures, roll window shade, sink, and furniture appear new. WiFi was acceptable.||I much appreciated the compact fridge, microwave, and large TV. I was impressed with the two nightstands. Each had two electric outlets and two USBs– in addition to the multiple outlets around the room. There was a mini coffee maker, sturdy paper cups, creamer, sugar, and various kinds of coffee. Although economy quality, these were thoughtfully supplied: a packet of body cream, small bar of soap, and packet of shampoo. FYI, o

It’s not bad. Could use a little ambiance, but fine if you’re just looking for a nights rest and shower. Our TV worked if you turn it on on the actual TV and then use the remote. I wish it was either cleaner or cheaper. I don’t like seeing evidence of other humans on the walls and doors, especially where you hang the hand/face towel. TVs should be cleaned with something that doesn’t leave streaks that I thought were greasy marks and mirrors should be cleaned all the way up. Oh, and don’t forget the cobwebs!

Basic lodging. Interior better than exterior. Beds hard as a rock. Thinnest pillows ever. Clean. HVAC strong. Parking minimal.

When I looked it up,It said," A Pot of Coffee was in each room". No COFFEE ☕ !!! At ALL! NO POT,NO COFFEE! AT ALL! Wanted a Deposit $25.00 FOR WHAT? I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE BEST WESTERN!
