We loved our week at the beach and our dog fell in love with the ocean. By the end of the second day he was paddling around. It was clean and quiet. We made new friends in the area and loved learning crabbing. This is a low population area. There are not a lot of thing to do except beach, camping and outdoor activities. We got what we wanted: peace and quiet.

Best undiscovered beach on the Gulf! No, water is not pristine, but we don’t go in water anyway. The beach is mostly empty save a few fisherman and occasional side by side. (You can drive beach here.) The PP resort was amazing. Friendly service. Extremely clean and accommodating. Not our last trip here for sure! PS. Do go armed for mosquitoes!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Pickled Pelican in Holly Beach. The peace and quiet, combined with the breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, made our stay unforgettable. Our dogs enjoyed the freedom of running on the beach without a leash, which added to the joy of our visit. The owners truly care about this place—they maintain it impeccably and are incredibly friendly and helpful. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. We highly recommend the Pickled Pelican to anyone looking for a serene and beautiful getaway.

Beautiful, quiet beach that seems to go on forever! The rv pads are paved and generously sized. Full hook ups and there are covered picnic tables! The beach is really close, just a short walk and it really is a "a slice of heaven" Ray our host is a real sweetheart of a guy... you just can't ask for more! 5☆s all the way! We loved it here! A Rural and Peaceful retreat. Ray was a nice man and keeps the park organized and clean. Go here for sure if you get a chance!
