Holiday Road RV Park

I patroned this RV park 2 years ago and it was pleasant until there was a foot of water outside my front door which is the case for the majority of lots 70% of the time. The reason for leaving was due to multiple large snakes being under RVs because they encourage wild ducks to inhabit the area around the RVs so they would lay eggs under RVs. Just recently I attempted to call their service department to schedule a repair and after listening to an automated recording and the line ringing three times the line was disconnected with no option to leave a message. There's significantly nicer parks in the area and around the metroplex that provide superior facilities and service. Very disappointing.

Camped here for the long Memorial Day weekend. The roads are gravel and wide enough to maneuver into the back-in spaces. The sites are nice and wide and level--just wish the water/sewer/electric connections were on the SIDE of the site though, as that's where most people's hookups are located on their rigs, instead of at the back end. Fortunately we had long enough water hose and sewer hose extensions to reach. With all the rain we've been having, naturally the spaces were soggy, but during dry weather the "yards" will be very nice to sit outside. We enjoyed the catch-and-release fishing pond. Well, my husband enjoyed it more than I did--he caught about 9 fish to my 1. LOL Not too much road noise from 380. The park is set back far enough that the pond acts as kind of a buffer. Great experience! The property is run very well, from the top down. Property managers, to the front desk, and even down to the lawn care, and upkeep of the area. Very well taken care of. Thank y’all, and keep up the great work!

We have stayed at HRRV park several times. The park is quiet and clean. Amenities are good as well with showers, laundry, dog park and new playground. The park host Judy is very responsive and has is kind and helpful.

Far and away one of the cheapest living situations I have seen in my life, it's nothing short of incredible. Amazingly clean, a scenic fishing pond, onsite washers, dryers, and propane tank refills, hookup to city water. Not to mention the staff are wonderfully nice and helpful. If you have an RV then truly this is the best place to stay, I can't recommend this place enough. Quality is not sacrificed for inexpensiveness here.
