Customer Reviews
We stayed at Holiday Lodge, Cody since accommodations neat Yellowstone were too pricey during our travel dates. I had booked through Priceline and received the confirmation email, but when we arrived around 9:45 PM, the front desk told us our reservation had been canceled—definitely gave my husband and me a mini heart attack. Thankfully, they still gave us a room. It’s a decent place if you’re on a budget and don’t mind driving 1.5–2 hours each way to Yellowstone. The building is old, but the room was clean, small, and cozy. It had one of those older AC units, but surprisingly, it worked well and kept the room comfortable. If you’re looking for an affordable stay just for sleeping and showering, this place gets the job done.
Spent one night here while visiting Yellowstone. It is an old timey hotel, however the rooms were clean and appeared to have been recently updated with carpet and paint. The beds were comfortably. It's about and hour to the East Entrance of Yellowstone and a lot less expensive than anything closer to the Park.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful even with my 10 PM check in. The bedding fits the location and I felt at home here. The bed was super comfy and for the first time on this trip, I didn’t wake up with a headache or soreness. Everything was super clean, even the shower, which worked awesomely. The door lock was a little hard to latch. No breakfast here but in this sweet little town of Cody, there are plenty of places to go for breakfast and do whatever you need. Cody even has a rodeo in town. The price of the room was reasonably priced at $132 for the night.
Positive: Staff were phenomenal and attentive. We were their last check in for the season and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy Negative: No
If you’re looking for a reasonable price for a hotel room, skip Cody. It’s touristy, crowded and unfriendly. This hotel just barely checked off the necessities— seemed clean but it was very small. The bathroom was about the size of a postage stamp-good water pressure though. The shampoo and soap were little tiny packets—goes with the bathroom. Not very good place to walk dogs but the rodeo grounds were across the street so that’s a good place. The hotel is the farthest away from town and still be in Cody proper.
