Holiday Inn & Suites St. Paul - Lake Elmo, an IHG Hotel

We had a block of rooms for a surprise birthday party. The staff was warm welcoming and helpful. The pool side rooms were large and comfortable. The pool is open until 11pm so if you want to sleep early don’t get a pool side room. The new restaurant and bar is great. Multiple golf simulators everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back

We stay at this location often. The front desk staff is kind, helpful, professional, and they care about your stay. The rooms are clean! I’m picky and the rooms and public spaces are obviously cleaned and cared for. Great location. So easy to get where we need to go. Beds are also great! We are able to use the hotel pillows! Imagine that! We will be back.

I recently stayed at the Lake Elmo Holiday Inn and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. As an IHG Rewards member with numerous stays at various properties, I was disappointed with the service and accommodations I received.||Upon arrival, I was assigned to room 111, which faced a wall, leaving the space dark and unwelcoming. This was particularly frustrating given that I had booked my stay well in advance, expecting a more favorable room. It truly felt like one of the worst rooms I’ve encountered in my extensive travels with IHG.||When I expressed my concerns to the front desk, I spoke with Alex Eder, the COE of the facility. We had a poolside room with double queens. The room was spacious and very clean, but the beds were really uncomfortable! Mattress was hard and very bouncy. I rolled into the center towards my husband (who isn't overweight or overly large). Pillows were excellent though! Room was super warm, 75 degrees and we had to turn the AC on just to coolv it off a bit. The AC sounded like an old airplane just turned its propeller on, so loud! I can't imagine needing to sleep while the fan is running. No free breakfast, was a little disappointed with that. They had coffee and cold water in the lobby, but no tea or hot chocolate for the kids. Would have been nice to at least have that. Overall nice hotel but not worth the money we paid.

My family and I stay at alot of Hotels. So when I say this was one of the best experiences we've had. I truly mean it. The hotel is amazing and their staff are top notch. We rented out one of the main rooms their by the pool side and we had a family Christmas and the staff made sure we were well taken care of and my family and I had a amazing time
