Holiday Inn Philadelphia South-Swedesboro

We stayed here in 2021 when our closing dates didn't happen on the same day and we needed a place to spend the night. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a plumbing issue in the first room we were assigned, but they quickly moved us. They accommodated our pet at the time - not sure if they still do that - and that was a huge convenience! We had breakfast the next day and that was good. I never thought we would need to stay at a hotel only minutes from our home, but it all worked out! I'd recommend this location in the event that anyone needed a place to stay close to family members they are visiting or were attending an event. The location is very convenient to Route 295, Philadelphia, and Delaware.

Positive: Breakfast was decent. It was your standard free hotel breakfast but this hotel did charge $15 Negative: Wallpaper and crown molding coming off in 3 rooms. tub faucet stripped out. Toilet valves stuck so the water ran all the time. Bar closed entire stay. Room floor filthy. Toilet clogged at 7pm, no staff to fix. Breakfast area had dirty dishes all day

I was pleased, with nothing to complain about. Had the microwave, Keurig and a mini-fridge. Bed was comfortable. I heard practically no outside noise during my stay. Check in and out were a breeze. Nice lobby. Was able to take a hot shower. The hotel in in with a group of two other hotels. Wawa was nearly adjacent.

👍 Recommended: No 🛏️ Time stayed: One night too many Walked into the room and was immediately greeted by the unmistakable smell of a moldy basement. Not subtle. Not questionable. Just confidently mold. The kind of smell that tells you it has seniority and isn’t going anywhere. The wallpaper was bubbled and peeling in a way that suggested it had simply given up. Not damaged. Defeated. Like it had seen things and didn’t want to be part of this anymore. The overall vibe was less “hotel stay” and more “run-down Vegas property that used to be exciting in 1983 and has been coasting on memories ever since.” Everything technically functioned, but in a way that made you feel like you were asking too much. You start to notice small things. You hesitate before sitting down. You question your life

All in All a really good experience. The room was clean and comfortable buildings A little old, but I felt comfortable. Even though I'm a Otr commercial driver, I only have a class C license so couldn't get the CDL discount so that bums me out. If you have a CDL and can prove it on your license , it's only 99$ But other than that pretty comfortable stay.
