Holiday Inn Mobile West - I-10 by IHG

Mardi Gras Weekend 2026 PROS: Staff was so kind, friendly and accommodating. Room was clean upon check-in. A light bulb was blown but was quickly changed. Needed to extend a night and front desk was accommodating in matching a lower rate. Received late check out and didn’t feel rushed! Lobby and hallways were clean. Breakfast was fresh and the attendant was super cool!! CONS: If your room is on the 4th floor facing the roof of the restaurant, you will smell the kitchen lol. No microwaves in the room but one was located near the ice machine. MAJOR CONS: The bathroom needs updating. The ceiling was peeling, shower head was sticking out of the wall, handles on the bathroom counter was loose even though there are no actually drawers to pull open and the shower curtain was just ragged

Stayed 2 nights on Nov 13th in room 532. My stay was very good. To get to the hotel you have to turn down a side street and go behind a gas station. Just know there is a regular Holiday Inn and further down is the Express. The property has a gate around it. Free parking. Which is good. The front desk employees were nice. The hotel has a bar/restaurant, exercise room, and outside pool (which was drained), no spa/hot tub. 😢 They have 2 elevators and 5 floors. Breakfast is free from 6:30-9:30, you will receive a paper ticket for the amount of days you are staying. My issue is if you go eat breakfast at 8am and another person in your party goes to eat at 9am, that person will not have a ticket, what will they do? The rooms were clean and neat. There were a lot of places to charge devices. Nice

We stayed at the Holiday Inn I-10 in Mobile, AL using the Cruise and Park package, and the flexibility they offered truly set them apart. Our cruise ship was delayed, which could have been very stressful, but the hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us a late checkout that matched our actual boarding time. That level of understanding and customer service made a huge difference for us. The convenience, friendliness, and willingness to work with our situation made this hotel an excellent choice for cruisers. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone cruising out of Mobile.

Stayed three nights here while traveling on business. Rooms, cleanliness and breakfast were fine. I was particularly impressed by the receptionist, Gerald. The man clearly takes pride in his work and embodies hospitality. After checking in, he remembered my name and greeted me every day during my stay. Always helpful, always accommodating. As a young man, it’s inspiring to see we still have people like that in this country today.

Positive: The staff were absolutely amazing. The staff is what gives this place 5 stars. Negative: For a $---- hotel you’d think they’d make sure the air conditioning is working in one of their hotels. The air was broken so the lobby and the hallways were excruciatingly hot. My rooms would not cool down so I had to be switched to another room
