Holiday Inn Miami-Doral Area by IHG

Hotel needs updates. Lots of details are bad. Personsel are great and make up for the rooms deficiencies. No free breakfast, take that ito account. Parking free. Moldy smell in the hallways Área is nice and safe, driving options for food nearby. Room.....needs upkeep. Door entrance lock stopped working for us, staff didn't know what to do... Bathroom needs updating, the towel rack almost falling down. Beds aren't bad, So...if not expecting much, go ahead, but.are many options in the area .

Rooms are ok, but dated. My AC unit wouldn't work, turns out it was unplugged underneath, and it struggled to keep the room at 68 during night, when outside temps were low-mid 70s. I had to leave early, and it took nearly 15 minutes to get warm water in the shower. No microwave in the room, not even plastic laundry bags. Then, an incompetent front desk clerk charged me twice and didn't know how to issue a refund. The clerk who later checked me out said the refund was issued, and the receipt was email. Surprise, there was no email and two weeks later, the bank says the refund wasn't issued. They don't answer their phone, and even the Holiday Inn corporate office wasn't able to get a hold of them. I do not recommend.

Unfortunately, I found several aspects of my experience quite disappointing and feel it is important to bring these issues to your attention.||Firstly, the lobby fell short of providing a welcoming atmosphere. It appeared dirty and uninviting. Although there were cookies available in the lobby, I noticed that guests were using their hands to grab them, which raised hygiene concerns for me.||The condition of the elevators was another significant issue. I will start with the only bright star at the hotel, the bartender. He made good food recommendations and drinks were tasty and he was fun to talk to. The check in was fine as well. The room had no toilet paper. I went to call front desk only to discover the phone is just for show. Not connected to an actual line. I went looking for housekeeping and they had none on the cart. When we finally located her she was rude and didn’t apologize for our inconvenience. Finally, the ac unit in the room was so noisy it was hard to get to sleep. It rattled and sounded like a plane was taking off all night. The room itself needs updating.

We hosted our conference at this hotel and had an excellent experience. The meeting space was well-organized, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Guest rooms were spotless and relaxing, making the trip easy for everyone. Highly recommend for business events and group stays!
