Holiday Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Airport by IHG

We stayed here for one night. The room was clean. The air conditioner was strong. The staff at the front desk were friendly. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Close proximity to a coffee shop, gas station and Denny’s. They set us up with a transfer to the cruise terminal. Would absolutely stay here again.

I had a really great stay at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Any time I needed something, they were quick to respond and genuinely happy to help. (Cj, Sabrina, Marshall, Kim, Tyrone, Kaya, and anybody else I dealt with was very pleasant and happy to help!) The location is super convenient, especially being so close to the airport. The shuttle drivers are professional, kind, and right on time, which made traveling back and forth extremely easy. We stayed here before going on a Caribbean Cruise to get over jetlag beforehand. Reception were always extremely helpful, inparticular Marshall, who arranged a taxi to pick us up as being from abroad, we were unable to get an Uber etc. The room was clean and the blueberry pancakes for breakfast were delicious. Thank you to the bar ladies and Eileen and the breakfast staff for a great stay. The atmosphere was friendly and the room fees reasonable. We didn’t notice any untoward noise levels. It was a 15 minute drive to the cruise port, and we were able to arrange for ‘Joe’ to take us via reception, for a low cost rate. Thanks!

Positive: Convenience Negative: The hours of the shuttle. I booked the hotel because it offered a shuttle but they stopped service at 11:00 pm and I was waiting around for 30 minutes before I called to confirm. The front desk employee was rude and I also had to pay for an Uber.

The waitress at the restaurant was sullen. The gym was dirty. There were no towels. One gym machine worked. We had one meal at the restaurant there. They tried to charge us for a second meal. It took 30 minutes to get this resolved at the front desk. The poor front desk clerk was trying to be helpful, but she was frazzled. She started out by telling us that she had to wait until 3 pm for her manager to get there to get permission to take off the fictitious charge. I happened to look at the walk that indicated that another manager was on duty. I pointed that out and she called him. He took his time coming down to sort it out. Not once did he acknowledge us. He spoke to her. Then was going back to his office ostensibly to fix it. After 20 minutes I asked her to ask him what was going on. The
