Watch your charges here. I was charged for an extra night because they never checked me out when i left the hotel. I handed the key to the front desk on my way out, verbally told them i was checking out, and my reservation said i was checking out, but for some reason they kept me as a guest for an extra night (maybe because i left the Do Not Disturb tag on the door accidentally?). They reversed the charge upon request. Other than that, nice hotel.
Positive: I liked the breakfast. The workers were attentive! The hotel manager was very friendly. Negative: We asked for two blankets but they only had one. For the whole hotel you only had ONE extra blanket?? There were only three bath towels in a room for four. And the only reason we booked it was for the pool. And it was broken and not available! Ugh.
First, the good news. HVAC was very good. Bathroom exhaust fan was good. No foggy mirrors. The OJ at breakfast was good. Front desk crew was pleasant and efficient.|Now, the problems. The desk lamp did not work, and the power cord was not accessible. The bathroom sink faucet handle was very hard to move and to adjust temperature. TV was good, but there was no channel guide in the room. Shower water pressure was a joke. The tub surface was slippery. Trash cans have plastic bags draped over the can. They were too small and totally worthless. Door latches are very noisy, so even if you avoid slamming the door at night, the sound of the latch is enough to be annoying to other guests. Freight trains (right next to the hotel) come through at all hours of the night. Think My Cousin V
1⭐️ – Extremely Disappointing Stay I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Tampa-Brandon for one night and it was a complete mess from check-in to check-out. When I arrived, I was charged twice $239 for the room, then an additional $289 because the front desk employee forgot to include the $50 deposit initially. Now I have nearly a $500 hold sitting on my card that will take days to clear — completely unacceptable for a one-night stay. The room looked fine at first, but that quickly changed. I woke up to find the sheets were dirty and there was a roach in the bed. Absolutely disgusting and not what you expect from a hotel charging these rates. To make matters worse, they “comped” me $50 — which was the same $50 they had forgotten to charge properly in the first place. So essentially no real res
Stayed here for one night. Room had small fridge (not properly cold for fridge and I can’t find the cooler setting), microwave, keurig. Room pretty decent. Bathroom is spacious but their vanity top is very limited not enough space to put my toiletries bag, my skincare items along with my curling iron. Included continental breakfast, nothing that I like by the way. It just me most likely since I worked in food industry for over 10 years.
