Holiday Inn Express & Suites Yorkville by IHG

This Holiday Inn Express & Suites Yorkville, Illinos, is an area where you can just walk around to restaurants, Cinema Theater, and shopping places. The breakfast is typical. It's clean but what I love is the front desk and customer service. Luisa is very respectful, with friendly smile, and fast to help what you need. My only complaint is that the hair conditioner is in the shower is wrong. The bottle says hair conditioner but the liquid inside is shampoo. My hair was so wiry because I shampooed twice. This problem was corrected right away by the front desk personnel (Luisa), she gave me a bottle of hair conditioner. Thank you. Highly recommended.

I found this property to be very well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good quality there were eggs offered, sausage and/or bacon and they even had gravy each morning. They were also very accommodating I had asked for a room on the highest floor away from the elevators since I’m a very light sleeper and they were happy to accommodate me. The room was very quiet. I never heard anybody the entire time I was there. If I return to Yorkville, I would not hesitate to stay here again very nice place.

My experience is the customer service is amazing, the staff is welcoming and great hospitality. They make you feel like family with warmth, humor, music and offer to help with anything you might need. The entrance is warm and cozy. The coffee and food is delightful. The rooms feel like a home away home oasis from the color scheme, lighting, bedding, layout of the room and the bathrooms are so inviting. The mini refrigerator and microwaves. The desk and set up for luggage and cabinets. Its a place to be a student, remote business work, vacation, future weddings, business events, parties, and so much more. Chris and his staff have treated us very well this past week and a half. We are out of our house due to repairs and they have been nothing short of amazing! Cleaning staff has been on Point with what ever we need. Shout out to Nancy for her hospitality and overall kindness. My kids and I have talked with her every morning before school. Great location. Plenty of attractions near by.

Good location within walking distance of many restaurants. The hotel itself is definitely catered to business men. For example the bed is about 4 feet high so as a petite 5ft 4in woman I had to hop up to get in. Also, the lighting in the bathroom is incredibly dim. Nice ambiance however,not good for putting in makeup. In addition to that the internet is very slow and the breakfast consists of very low quality protein. Also, the rooms aren't equipped with the usual complimentary items as other hotels. There is a sign in the bathroom that reads, if you need anything call the office. Well they are not very nice when I call so forget it. One last thing, there is no Bible in the room and no religious channels on the television. Ultimate deal breaker. I will not stay here again.
