Holiday Inn Express & Suites Winona by IHG

My spouse and I took an overnight trip to Winona and stayed here, hoping for a quiet place to sleep. It was more than that and I am thrilled with our time here. The hotel is clean and quiet. We spent the evening in the hotel's sauna, pool, and hot tub. The sauna has clearly seen better days but functions and is, importantly, clean. The rooms themselves were clean and well-appointed, and were a comfortable place to stay the night. The breakfast in the morning was above what I had expected. Still hotel breakfast, don't get me wrong, but there were both more and tastier options than I was expecting. I have stayed at a handful of hotels in the past few months for both work and leisure, and this was stand out. We will certainly be back!

A wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The staff was friendly, the room was cozy, and the location was perfect. I would happily stay here again.

The facility itself is nice and the rooms are generally good, but even those come with recurring issues—clogged bathtubs, body lotion put into soap dispensers, and other careless oversights. Room prices keep increasing, yet the breakfast selection keeps diminishing, with items frequently running out long before the advertised end time. Unfortunately, the real problem is the front desk staff, who are consistently unfriendly, inefficient, and at times outright rude. Important details are routinely missed, and notes they claim to enter into the system are simply not there. Late Checkout process is a constant failure: it doesn’t work through the TV, it doesn’t work through the front desk, and it still doesn’t work even after repeated verbal confirmations. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Winona! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was spotlessly clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. My room was spacious, inviting, and incredibly comfortable- truly a perfect place to relax after a long day. Every detail had been thoughtfully taken care of, and I found that I had more amenities than I even needed, which was such a pleasant surprise. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and peaceful, making my stay incredibly enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Winona to anyone looking for a high-quality, worry-free experience. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Smooth check-in. Great service. Friendly and helpul staff. Housekeeping staff went above and beyond to help with wheelchair accommodations. I'm not sure og her name but she helped me all the way to the room and took back the cart. And made sure the wheelchair was put in the room before she left my side. So Thankful. Clean and spacious room.
