Holiday Inn Express & Suites Van Wert by IHG

I stayed there 3-4 nights a week for work for a four month period and my experiences were great. The front desk lady name Ashley was really helpful every time I would check in. She gave me great recommendations for food and activities around town. The breakfast could be a little better, but it was definitely better than some other places I have lodged at.

Check in was easy and quick. I did get the room I had requested which was a plus.||The hotel is older, but has had some renovations. ||The room was average sized and appeared clean.|The king bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows.||room lighting was an issue as the main light kept flicking on and off- Im not sure if it had a bad switch or loose wire.||The room had a nice big TV, but oddly it was somewhat offset with respect to the bed. it did swivel out so it wasn't a big deal. ||There were outlets near the bed, but they were an older style so only one of the modern larger charger blocks could fit at one time. the outlet by the closet was so old my charger fell out. ||the room had the standard fridge, microwave, and tiny coffee maker. ||The bathroom was decent sized, but

We needed to make an unexpected overnight stay on our trip from Dayton to Grand Rapids. This was a great find! We will stay here again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were updated and clean. Breakfast had great variety! Nice experience!

So cozy. The room is amazing. Bed are comfy. The pool is big and the environment is spacious, inviting, and fun.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Big TV. Showers have good pressure and big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was always hot and pretty good. Hard to beat a hotel that has a field of corn behind it. If you love wind turbines, drive 10 minutes north into Paulding county. It's a beautiful sight, especially at night.
