Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sioux Center by IHG

This hotel is getting on in years & has seen a lot of guests. I'd rate it average but given it's $160/night cost (which was cheapest IHG Rewards non-refundable rate) quite overpriced. Since we had a dog we wanted a first floor room with king bed but had to settle for a second floor room with 2 queens. There are better hotel option in the area.

Clean, well-equipped, spacious rooms with comfortable beds/pillows and good showers. Every person on the staff is friendly and check-in is a breeze. We stayed here for several weeks while working in town and I was always happy to return to this hotel at night. Five stars across the board!

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The air conditioning needs to be turned down much farther than normal. It cools the room, but doesn’t keep it cool. We were warm most of the night. There were some unidentified noises around 11 pm and again at 5 am. We were looking for a good night’s sleep. The hotel is well located with an excellent restaurant within walking distance.

We had an enjoyable experience. Even though the lobby had a lot of loud guests, we couldn’t hear a thing when we got to our room. It was quiet and relaxing. We were close to a stairway and thankful the door was open so we didn’t have to hear it slam once. We had a great nights sleep and were on our way in the morning. We didn’t have time for breakfast this time, but it smelled amazing!
