Holiday Inn Express & Suites Platteville by IHG

I just stayed two nights in this hotel and MUST say the customer service from check in to check out is absolutely one of the best I have had in a long time! Stacy, Julie and the housekeeping staff all are very friendly, outgoing and certainly love their jobs because it shows through in so many aspects of this hotel! Keep up the great work folks and hopefully we will be back to “dig” more holes!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an exceptional hotel that truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the courteous and efficient front desk staff who made check-in a breeze. The staff were not only professional but also friendly and knowledgeable about local events, providing great recommendations for things to do in the area. Upon entering the room, I was pleased to find a clean and comfortable space that felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness did not go unnoticed. The hotel's laundry room was another standout feature, offering an excellent facility for guests to use during their stay. Excelent service, truly clean, absolutely loved the breakfast squeezable (zero waste) options. Issue? our main challenge was the ability to sleep the water pipes sounded (to me) as barking dogs on the distance all throughout the night. Even more disruptive was the AC which didn’t respond to our request to stop pumping extremely hot air into the room. Even when we turned it off, the room was not only hot but toasty. Holiday in may want to revisit this and plan for efficient heating that minimize waste, could save them significan % of current funds currently squander in overheating rooms.

My preferred place to stay when I’m in town for work. Very close to the University and nearby stores/restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern rooms. Excellent morning breakfast. Standard fare per night. I highly recommend.
