Holiday Inn Express & Suites Omaha I - 80 by IHG

We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean, had no problems. Breakfasts were good coffee was good. Everything was always full, never saw one mess over the entire long weekend and we were never woken up the whole time we were there ,and we were right by the stairs. Beds are average and the heat worked real good.It was -4 one night

We enjoyed our stay here. The area felt safe and was close to fast food. The breakfast wasn’t overcrowded and the staff kept it well stocked. The pool area was nice. We ran out of towels, and new ones were brought promptly. Only small issues…the 3rd floor elevator button wasn’t working and you had to call the front desk to use the elevator, so we used the stairs most often. It wasn’t a noisy hotel, but if people were in the hall by your door it was very loud.

Would absolutely stay here again if we're travelling through! Both check-in and check-out staff were incredibly friendly and engaging, and the process to get in and out was quick and easy. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. Great shower pressure and spacious bathroom counter. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with many options ... perfect way to start our last leg of our road trip. ||Our room was next to the elevator and ice machine but barely heard any noise. If we're ever travelling through again, we'll stay in this sweet quiet town and great hotel!

No coffee in rooms like advertised you have to go to lobby. Had 11:00 check out, put do not disturb sign up and had housekeeping knocking by 9. I said not ready yet. Then front desk calls saying they need to send up maintenance for shower head issue. I said there's no issue with shower head to which she said it's a past problem and could they come up to work on it again I said I was still packing and could it wait. Left by 1030 but felt oddly pressed for them to get the room done. I paid for checkout which is 11. If you want people out at 9 because of your cleaning crew than make that the checkout time.

Some of the positives first: The pillows are nice and soft, I liked them. The breakfast bar had a decent enough spread, although it was the same all 4 days. There was a Walmart and a couple of restaurants within walking distance, which was great after a long day of driving. They did let us use the toaster in the breakfast area at night, which was nice of them. For the negatives: The pool was ice cold, I felt I was going to get hypothermia after 5 minutes. The hot tub didn't work. Just put the temp of the pool at a decent temp, especially on the weekend when you had ton of kids there. And what little time I did spend in the pool, I could tell, you guys use a LOT of chlorine in that pool. Also, the beds were super hard, I felt sore in the morning from how hard they were and I didn
