Holiday Inn Express & Suites Okmulgee by IHG

I stayed here because I had a Dr's appointment. The doors in the room didnt shut all the way. They have pictures of a hot tub by their pool, but when we went there, they did not have a hot tub by the pool. We ended up getting a room with a jacuzzi in it. The price was decent, but not great views.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Okmulgee, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The TV remote didn’t work at all, one of the lights in the room flickered all night, and the phone had a sticky residue all over it that was really unpleasant. When we brought these issues up, we were told we couldn’t receive any kind of discount or compensation because the room was booked online. We expected a cleaner, more comfortable stay for the price and from a hotel brand like Holiday Inn. Hoping management will take this feedback seriously and make improvements for future guests.

Everything about the room was great. It was clean, spacious, super comfortable bed with a chaise lounge. Good lighting and plenty of charging stations that worked. The bathroom was clean and up to date. Loved having the Dove dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Gluten free bagels were available for breakfast which was nice too. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Would definitely stay there again. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool area, but it was available.

TV wasn’t working when we first got there. Had to call front desk for him to come fix the tv. 20 minutes after that, had to call again because there was no hand soap in the room. Later on we were getting up to take showers and there was no soap nor shampoo. ||Then to top it off, I’ve yet to receive my deposit and we stayed there Sept. 21st! ||Outside of these issues the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

When we arrived to the room. The tv wasn’t working and we had to call the front desk. 20 minutes later we had to call again because we had no body wash soap nor hand soap. Also to top it off, we stayed there on September 21st and I still haven’t received my deposit back when they said it should only take 3-5 business days! The entire transaction is still pending on my card! Glad I videoed to room before we left bc of all the other issues so there won’t be any mess about my deposit!
