Holiday Inn Express & Suites Newberry by IHG

Pretty great stay here. We had two rooms, one of which had a faint smell compared to the other. It wasn’t a bad smell, but I just couldn’t place it what it was. Not anything to complain about tho. Hot tub was nice and toasty, great after driving all day. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The bacon was perfectly cooked in my opinion, other hotels take note! Also, loved that the milk containers at breakfast were in a fridge and not just sitting on the counter like a lot of other places.

Easy access to highway and not far from the Operahouse. Exceptionally clean and we were thankful for the really comfortable beds and quality bedding. Not usually a fan of free hotel breakfasts, but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Would stay again!

We stay here every year while traveling to Ocean Isle. They never disappoint!! Their staff is excellent, the rooms are always sparkling clean and stylishly decorated. The breakfast is always an added bonus. This year our special thanks goes to Tammy for giving me the bear claw roll as we were checking out—-because they ran out of their special cinnamon rolls at breakfast. She had heard me ask in the dining room if they had more available. Every year—their staff does something memorable for us and we appreciate all of them. We have been staying here for years. We combine business with pleasure and usually bring the kids because it was the best heated pool in 3 states. The indoor pool has been off every time we have been there since September. You can swim but you will freeze. We need to be back in the area in 2 weeks, I asked at the front desk if the pool would be heated then and the lady at the front desk said "if it isnt today, I wouldnt bet on it." The TV cable box quit working halfway thru our stay and couldnt be brought back online. Again the front desk staff said it could be fixed but they didnt have what was needed. Beds are good, breakfast is good, things are clean, but since the remodel things just arent the same. We were woken up twice back in September because the fire alarms went off, I see in the

I could not say better things about this hotel! Location is accessible to highway, but far enough to not hear the traffic. Breakfast was great, staff was great, fast check-in and they actually had a working hot tub. Staff could not have been nicer. 10/10 - Bed so comfortable I slept in on accident. Full GYM, not just a treadmill.
