Holiday Inn Express & Suites Midland Loop 250 by IHG

Do not go! we went to the city and stayed at this hotel because of my 2 sons soccer game tournament. we checked in at around midnight from a long drive. Well they gave us a room on the 2nd floor where we could we everything downstairs, and the cherry on top, the room was right next to the elevators which were really noisy could not get any sleep. the second night we just got back from a long day of soccer games. and we were really tired. and when we got in, the room was well cleaned. and I was also trying to find my wedding ring which I had put on the counter in the bathroom. and wasn't there we searched the room top to bottom, we didn't anything. so by that time me and my wife were freaking out. so we went to the front desk to report it stolen. and by the way that ring was worth over 10,

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my stay was so bad. I feel obligated too. It started when I went to check in the lady at the front desk was extremely short and rude and snarky with her comments. When I got checked into my room, the hardwood floors creaked The bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could hear the metal frame hitting the floor and squeaking anytime I got in bed. The shower partially flooded the bathroom every time I took a shower. The room did look like it had been updated and remodels and clean. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay and I will not be booking here again.

The hotel itself was great. The check in clerk was extremely nice and the rooms were very clean with comfy beds. My only issue (and reason for the 3 star) was that we booked 2 rooms on the same floor (traveling with teen grandkids), were told they were available by the reservation dept and when we got there, they had to put us on separate floors. The check in clerk was very nice but nothing could be done because we were a late arrival. Not the hotels fault but your corp reservation agent failed us. Not much sleep for this grandma worried about her grandkids on a different floor!

Extremely loud inside hallway from the door that has a 4” gap to the floor and the insane amount of vehicle and road noise outside. I have had the worst experiences lately at Holiday Inns. This reservation ends my business trip stays at HI. The room has no carpet, the light by the desk working area doesnt work. I have another night booked via Expedia but will ditch this and go to another hotel.

Rooms are extremely noisy and seem to amplify noise out side the room. The buildings exterior sign is so bright, the room was illuminated with both blinds secured (closed).
