Holiday Inn Express & Suites Livingston by IHG

Service was good, room ok and shower not great. No remote in room for TV so had to go back down, tile busted up on floor in room 304. Tile in front of ac so bad it is all just laying there loose, piece came up an almost tripped me. Bed was good an slept well, however shower is another story. Took about 10 min to get hot water, then halfway through shower went cold again.

My room was very clean including the bathroom and the bed and pillows were clean and very comfortable--the entire hotel was pretty much spotless. Service was friendly and helpful. No Michelin stars for the breakfast buffet but it was adequate. Could use some better towels and the bathroom (though completely clean) looked like they started redoing the paint and haven't quite finished. My only real complaint was the fire alarm going off once while I was asleep--only for 15 seconds or so and I went back to sleep but it was pretty rude. Oh and it was hard to find the place in the dark but at least I'll already know where it is next time.

This hotel is average at best. It is convenient to my work location is why I stay and I am a Platinum Elite member (was Diamond Elite until January 2025). The recent renovation was poorly done. Tub/shower are different in most rooms. Hot water took long time for shower and water pressure was low. Desk chair was uncomfortable and co worker's desk chair would almost flip over if you leaned back. The worst part was I received a phone call on room phone asking me and my co-worker to lower our conversation because we could be heard by guest in the next room. We were sitting on opposite ends of the couch in the room having a normal conversation at normal volume. It was around 5:00 pm and there was no no TV or any other noise in room. Stayed here for a baseball tourney. Never thought to question a holiday inn. Wrong! The worst holiday inn I have ever stayed at. Hotel had an overall dirty feeling, old, outdated. Staff was friendly but that was it. The hotel pool was disgusting. We arrived on Saturday and after a hot day at baseball kids were excited to swim. The pool had visible dirt accumulation ALOT all on the bottom, water even felt slimy. I made my daughter get out and go shower. No actual pool furniture like shown in picture. It was inside chairs not meant for outside. Our room also smelt like musty mildew covered up by air freshner. I never post reviews but after spending 300 bucks for two nights and could not wait to get out of that hotel! Go to the la quinta down the road much nicer.

Don’t usually do these but I must. Front desk ladies were nice but it stops right there. It was filthy. My sheets were stained. Holes in the wall. Toilet lopsided and breakfast. I won’t go there. Not the consistency I eh ave come to expect with IHG. Sorry.
