Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Placid by IHG

BEST breakfast around! A really great variety including eggs, meats, yogurt, 3 different types of juice, sweet bun's, fruit, and more. Fran who takes care of everything couldn’t be nicer. She keeps the area spotless and delivers friendly service. Kenny and Paula at the front desk are kind and accommodating. The hotel is very clean which is KEY in my opinion. The location is also great. Best hotel in town.

Everything about this hotel is well managed. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms and common areas were spotless, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the temperature control was spot-on. The breakfast is what you would expect and it was kept clean and well stocked (they have tasty cinnamon rolls!)|We were there for family wedding in the area so spent a lot of time in the common area. There was a problem with the elevator call button but the staff was very good at a work-around by opening the door from the back side whenever we needed it. Since it was just as easy to take the stairs, we discovered that even the stairwells were clean, wide, and well maintained.|Location is close to shopping and fast-food and a short drive to 'downtown' and larger restaurants.

My Wife, our girlfriend and myself stayed two nights and rode the Clewiston Comet train. We arrived late Friday but the desk was attended and the we were quickly helped and thanked for staying. We were made aware of all amenities and told to not hesitate to ask if we needed anything. We found the room clean and well furnished for our needs with a sitting area and coffee table and a desk with a comfortable desk chair. The hotel is a few minutes from the Train Depot and we were complimented on our outfits since we decided to dress in early 1900‘s fashion to match the Steam Engine‘s era. We returned to the room afterwards to change into more comfortable attire and was given a few suggestions on good places to eat and things to see in the area. I especially want to recognize Paula for her exceptional customer service. She was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to help me with an issue that was actually my own mistake. She handled everything with patience, understanding, and professionalism, and never once made it feel like a problem. Paula truly made our stay smoother and less stressful. Her kindness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. She represents the hotel so well, and her level of customer service is rare to find. She absolutely deserves recognition and honestly, a promotion or raise for the amazing job she does.

I arrived at Lake Placid Holiday inn Express after a long day of travel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were luxurious and very clean and neat. When morning arrived at 6AM I was welcomed to an excellent breakfast with many healthy alternatives. What a WONDERFUL experience at the Holiday inn Express in America's most interesting town 🌅
