Holiday Inn Express & Suites Franklin - Oil City by IHG

I travel for work and stay in Holiday Inn Express locations all over the country. I’ve been stationed at this one since early September, and it has, by far, been the best Holiday Inn I’ve stayed in over the past four years — and it’s not even close. The staff here are the kindest I’ve ever encountered, not just at a Holiday Inn Express, but at any hotel I’ve stayed in. They are incredibly accommodating and genuinely friendly. My partner’s birthday was last month, and he even received a handwritten note under our door wishing him a happy birthday. In a world where you’re lucky if people even acknowledge you, that small act meant so much. Every member of this team goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, and that’s such a rare thing these days. I truly loved my stay here, and I know

This hotel was conveniently located and clean enough. One of the employees who served the complimentary breakfast was very friendly and went out of his way to help us. However, our room was on the first floor right around the corner from the lobby, which was not a good location within the hotel. We could hear conversations echoing from the lobby, which included the sounds of children running and screaming until midnight one night. Maybe other floors within the hotel would be better but we will not return to find out.

Staff was terrific. Friendly, helpful accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets and towels were clean. Food was breakfast and options were good. The eggs tasted like the real thing. Rooms were spacious and clean with twin Queens. Toiletries were included as was refrigerator microwave and coffee maker. Also, coffee and tea in the lobby with computer access. Gym with sufficient equipment and a lovely swimming pool for the kids

Likely the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time (and I’m super picky about that). Shower pressure was amazing!! Bathrooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. The breakfast was actually a hearty breakfast with hot food and lots of drink options. Everyone there was super friendly as well! Visiting family in the area we will absolutely return again!!

I stay here frequently for business. The rooms are always clean, the free breakfast choices are few but what is offered is always good. It's enough to get a good start to the day! Staff is helpful and friendly. The view of the mountains can be pretty depending on which room you are in.
