Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corpus Christi (North) by IHG

I'm still waiting on a call from the manager...... I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel on 2/7/26. I was in town for business, and my company arranged and paid for my stay. Because I had previously had an issue with the payment not being received, I called the Monday before my arrival to confirm everything was in place. I was told it was “good to go.” Unfortunately, that was not the case. When I arrived to check in, the front desk associate (short, stringy hair) immediately demanded the credit card on file. I explained that my stay was company-arranged and paid by them. Instead of calmly reviewing the reservation, she responded in a condescending tone and insisted she needed the card due to fraud concerns. I understand security policies, but professionalism and basic courtes

First off let me preface this review with stating that I really do enjoy staying at Holiday Inn when I am traveling. Unfortunately my stay at this location left me underwhelmed. My stay was for a week. Check-in was a breeze and courteous as always. Upon entering my room and inspecting it, I found the shower/bath tub had rust stains above the drain. It was just unsightly to me. Also the shower head needed cleaning but replacement seems like a better idea. It was covered in scale and only one of the spray settings was usable, but just barely. I brought it up with front desk but nothing else was available so I decided to keep my room instead of having to search for another hotel. Nice staff, generally nice but the room was worn, slight odor. maintenance was apparent but poorly done. Bathroom faucets had issues, but I was able to bathe. The janitorial staff clearly did the best they could with what they had to work with. Clean towels, bed linens, and counter tops.

The room was good. The air conditioner was not working they immediately gave us a different room. Breakfast here was good too. A variety of items were available. I had a nice stay here.

Positive: Sunday breakfast was good had nice pool Negative: The breakfast on Tuesday was awful every thing was either burnt or overcooked
