Holiday Inn Express & Suites Conroe I-45 North

Room is good. The customer service here sucks! The washer didn’t work right it left my clothes soak n wet. Told them they said use a certain cycle I told them I did! Took $8 to dry my clothes! Remote didn’t work and all they said was did you try getting closer to the tv? Really! Why have a remote! Why not tell people the washer doesn’t work! Call a repair man! You expect Holiday Inn to be one of the better places to stay but when they are not looking these people who work there make the place look not so great!

When I checked in there was an issue with payment on my employer's side of the transaction and Trey was very accommodating with assisting to get the issue resolved and was very calm during the entire transaction. He made sure I was checked in and got to my room safely. I liked that the staff around the hotel was very welcoming and all acknowledged me when I approached as well. And there was security present outside. In the room the bed was very comfortable and the hot shower was just what I needed after driving 3 hours to get to the hotel. I would recommend more options for breakfast but it wasn't bad - I would have just like to have more options. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel in Conroe. Over our stay, we had issues with the mini fridge not working, which we reported to two people, and we also found ants in our room the morning of our check out. We brought this to the attention of the assistant manager at the hotel (Cristina), showing her pictures of the ants that she acknowledged, and she apologized and agreed to give us a $20 discount on our stay for the inconvenience. She wrote this discount down on our bill and told us she would email an updated invoice so we went on our way. ||She then called back several hours later stating that she saw no ants or “signs of ants” and that the mini fridge was working perfectly fine, therefore, she was going back on her previous agreement of $20 off on our invoice. This is an older hotel that needs renovation. Mostly build out of wood and it's not very soundproof. It is relatively clean, but bathrooms, all have old tubs and the floors Creek. staff is very friendly and helpful.

This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in quite some time. To be fair, I don’t blame the young man at the front desk, it was clear he was new. In fact, he handled himself impressively well under the circumstances. But that’s really the problem: no employee should ever be left completely alone on a busy Saturday, especially when dealing with a constant stream of complaints and frustrated guests. He was being hit from all sides, yet managed to stay calm and professional. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. When I arrived at my room, the smell of musty smoke hit me immediately. The toilet seat was crooked and so loose it felt like it could fall off at any moment. Inside the bowl were fresh-looking stains; the kind you never want to see. To make matters worse, th
