Holiday Inn Express & Suites Concordia US 81 by IHG

Room 203 was standard fare. It was clean and had a neutral smell. No harsh room smells of wetness or cleaning supplies. I was very pleased with that. I found nothing in the room that left be believing it was breezed through during cleaning. The fit and finish was showing signs of age. A little peeling paint and plaster here and there but nothing to leave me feeling it was run down, even though there was construction to renovate happening around me. There was nothing to complain about except it was missing the modern room innovations ive come to expect from my travels... no usb at bedside, no modern lighting, etc. The water pressure was great and the toilet was a huge well, but the flush pressure left one feeling secure if I were sharing a room. My family has previously stayed at this property. This time there was a large group for a family funeral. As always, the staff was polite and efficient. The property was clean and in good shape. Staff allowed family to meet in the breakfast area, after evening visitation. We are grateful to the team members for their hospitality.

I chose this hotel because I know Holiday Inn quality and this place did not disappoint. It might be pretty new; I don't know. From check-in to check out everyone was friendly. I love a hot breakfast and this one was good. The cinnamon rolls were amazing and the coffee was really good too. We had comfortable beds and a clean bathroom with plenty of towels. We didn't even use them all. Last, Concordia is a town of many faces and we enjoyed our time there very much.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. My brother lost his home to a fire and the community helped put him up here. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, the staff made us feel like family. I am also in the customer service industry and my faith in humanity has been restored to mankind by the employees of this hotel. Definitely will stay here every time I come to Concordia.

Very impressed with hotel and staff. It just goes to show that small town people make the best employees. Everything about this location was top notch. Definitely an asset to Concordia
