Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago-Deerfield/Lincolnshire by IHG

We stayed at this hotel from 12/3 to 12/6 and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles at check-in. The same very friendly lady assisted us both at check-in and check-out, and although we don’t know her name, we would like to thank her sincerely for her kindness and professionalism. She truly made our stay feel welcoming. Our room was comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast room had a cozy atmosphere, and the breakfast itself was very good and enjoyable each morning. The service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent—everyone was attentive and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

I have come to really enjoy Holiday Inn properties; I seem to have better experiences there than with other hotel chains as of late. This location was no exception. I felt it was conveniently located, though I wish there were a light to make it a little easier to take the left onto Lake Cook Rd. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating; I had misplaced my wallet and was panicked that I would not be able to check in. I was situated in a room right at the top of the stairs from the lobby, which felt odd at first but turned out to be very convenient. I WILL say that I heard the banging noises as well, but I was able to figure out why: My room was directly above the sliding doors to the lobby. Hot tub & pool very DIRTY! Kids couldn’t even find the GLOWING pool toys on how dirty that pool was! Informed the receptionist- manager not in today Only to find out an another hotel guest told me that pool was exactly the same the day before! Thought maybe Sunday (3/08) pool would had been cleaned- nope! Have video too bad I can’t upload it! Because pics is not enough!
