Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carneys Point - Pennsville by IHG

I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inns over the years, but Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carneys Point - Pennsville by IHG is hands down the nicest one I’ve ever experienced. From the moment I walked in, everything felt elevated — the lobby was spotless, modern, and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was calm and professional. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. You can tell management takes pride in maintaining high standards here. It truly felt more like a premium hotel experience than what you typically expect. What made the stay even better was Hope at the front desk. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind — the kind of person who makes you feel valued as a guest. Her professionalism and positive energy set the tone for the entire stay.

The room was nice, I especially liked the bathroom – it was clean, bright, and well-designed. The front desk staff were also nice! I would definitely stay here again!

Whether you’re traveling for work or just passing through, this hotel is a fantastic choice. The rooms are clean and updated, with a fresh, modern feel that makes for a very comfortable stay. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming—especially the manager, who truly goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel taken care of, even if you’re only there for one night. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a decent variety including an egg omelet and other tasty options. It’s clear the hotel is continuing to improve, as the elevator appears to be in the process of being updated as well. All in all, a reliable, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. I’d definitely return!

Serenity at the front desk is the best! Was on day 4 of a round trip from SC to MA for a funeral and this was the 3rd hotel I had stayed in 3 days/3 states. I was so tired and Serenity at the front desk was great. Check in was efficient and informative; she was also super friendly. I used to manage a hotel and would’ve loved having Serenity on my team. The room was spacious and clean, and despite the lower price it was better than 2 different hotels I stayed at on this roadtrip. Will definitely try and stay at this hotel on my next trip to my hometown.

***BED BUGS*** Looked for somewhere to sleep for a few hours around midnight in the middle of the roadtrip. Usually have good experiences with holiday inn expresses but this was terrible. We had to call a number to get someone to open the front door after hours, got someone in a decent amount of time. We got 2 rooms for 4 of us, check in and headed up to the 3rd floor. We were in the room for just enough time to put our bags down, use the bathroom, and pull the sheets back. We laid in the bed and immediately jumped right back out as a BED BUG was laying on our pillow. We work in healthcare and know how detrimental it is to be exposed to these. In a matter of minutes we noticed 2 other bugs crawling on the walls. We got our stuff and went to the desk. The same gentleman was at the desk
