Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bradenton East-Lakewood Ranch by IHG

We recently had a second stay in this property. Check-In was easy and efficient. We were welcomed with membership status. Allocation of room matched our preferences. |Room and the whole property was clean and met our expectation. Everything is up to date here. Breakfast staff were attentive, everything was well prepared and refilled. Service here was great. |Also wifi connection is far better than in other properties we visited so far. |It is a great location for excursions around Sarasota. We will definitely return to this hotel if we will visit the area for another trip.

I was expecting this to be like any other express, but as we got into the room (411) we saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom and 1 more cockroach running through the wall cracks as we opened the door. Then, I don't know if it was a personal issue, but the wifi did not seem to work and I had to use data for 3 days during my stay, the only good part that they had was the nice breakfast, decent weight room, and pretty good hot chocolate. There are much better, especially if you are in the area.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and rooms were fantastic! The individual at the front desk (Caiti Di Biagio) must take A LOT of breaks in the back room! Upon arrival my wife waited over 15 minutes for him to get to the front desk! I went down later and waited 10 minutes for help, and later in the evening I wanted to do some laundry so I went down to purchase some detergent. When I got to the desk there was a couple waiting and another person waiting to get checked in. The couple had stated they have been waiting for 30 minutes! The lady checking in said she had been waiting for 20 minutes and I waited 15 minutes to purchase detergent! Again the hotel itself is beautiful but the help is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. So yeah pretty worthless employee you have! I tried calling t

The staff always greeted you every night on the way in and every morning on the way out. The lady during the day, the young lady on the weekend nights were super, the room staff was very accommodating, the breakfast lady was very attentive to cleanliness and the general manager was visible several times during my two week stay. Any requests were taken care of right away. Having the laundry machines available was very convenient and easy to use. The gym was very clean and easy to access. The young lady doing the general cleaning of the main lobby was always in motion and did a very good job. To hop on and off the highway was very easy for this location.

No heat or hot water. Multiple trips to front desk. This place is usually better than this and not sure what happened. We did finally get a room with heat and hot water.
