Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bedford by IHG

When I first made reservation on February 3,I received a confirmation email For that reservation. However, when my six-year-old son and I went to check in, (we were supposed to be three but my husband had the flu) we were told our reservation had been canceled due to our card being declined. I’m trying to figure what the process is of being notified that a reservation has been canceled. So this does not happen again. I had no notification of this cancellation. I checked my spam folder as well as my regular folder. When I texted the general customer service office, on the contact us link, after a long back-and-forth, they said to call the hotel directly because it had been canceled on the hotel’s end. When I attempted to call the recommended number and gave my original reservation number

Positive: Clelan, nice breakfast, good location, easy to get to. Negative: One of the front desk managers was rude to my wife and asked questions about her service dog that were not legal by Federal standards regarding service animals. The employee was rude, inappropriate and uncaring. People w/ service animals need help!!

So i went to this hotel to stay for the night, as i was in town for work and to help a friend, how had storm damage to their house. I checked in and gave my card information. The front desk ran my card gave me my key and i went to my room. 10 minutes into my stay i get a call from the desk saying there is an issue with my card. i immediately check my account to make sure it wasn't a fraud alert. As i am scrolling through transactions i see a pending transaction for the hotel. SO i approach the desk and ask the clerk what the issue was. She tell me my card was declined. so i show her the transaction on my phone that its pending for the hotel and the amount. so she asked if i could call my bank so i did. The staff made sure we were well taken care of. The breakfasts are good. They have real eggs, not powdered eggs. Internet service is great and I've been able to work and stream videos with no issues. It has been a great stay, but the washer is broken in the laundry.

Perfect Stay – Couldn’t Ask for Better! Everything about my stay was outstanding. The hotel was extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping the place spotless and making guests feel at home. Check-in was smooth, the room smelled fresh, and every detail was just right. I would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience!
