Holiday Inn Express & Suites Arcata/Eureka-Airport Area by IHG

Usually I would go on about the location, amenities, food, etc. but most of these hotels are very similar so ill spare that and focus on what stood out to me. The reason I love choosing Holiday Inn Express is the consistency of what they offer. For the most part at worse my experience was ok overall. This location however had the BEST customer experience I've ever experienced!!! EVERYONE from our first day to our last, from day to night shift was excellent. Extra thanks to O'brion for awesome service, going above and beyond. I can't speak for anyone else's experience but my wife and I are greatful to the staff for tending to us, everyone we encountered was consistently giving great service. Keep up the good work guys! Positive: Lots of surface area for our stuff. Chairs available in room for sitting. Plenty of towels in room. Pool was great, hot tub was perfect. Negative: Pancake machine was out of service.

I had a wonderful stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff was genuinely courteous and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. I also appreciated the wide variety of amenities available — they truly thought of everything to make the stay convenient and enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Zeya was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and quiet. The hotel was very up-to-date. The lobby is very comforting. You will need a car if you plan on getting something to eat. There’s nothing in walking distance. I enjoy staying here because I have family close by. The do have a shuttle to the airport which is close by. The rooms are spacious and up to date they also have balconies available and a indoor pool. Breakfast starts a little late but they have go bags if you’re leaving before 7am. Coffee is always available and fresh.

Client oriented excellent service. My my original arrival was supposed to be 10:30 pm but plane was delayed and landed over 2 1/2 hours late and the shuttle to the hotel at the Arcadia airport was ready for us and took compassionate care of the six people that she picked up and drove to the hotel. The extremely kind driver happily helped us with our bags and made sure we all got in the hotel quickly.||The person at the desk was also very friendly and kind and gave me my key and told me that if I had any concerns that I should get in touch with the front desk and they'll be happy to help||I always use this hotel when I fly into Arcata.
