Holiday Inn Express New Albany - Louisville NW by IHG

We really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a long day — cozy beds and a quiet, relaxing feel. Breakfast was a nice surprise with a good selection and plenty of options to start the day without feeling rushed. The location is also great — easy to get around and close to everything we needed. Overall, a comfortable, stress-free stay. We’d definitely stay here again.

Positive: convenient to my job site and local restaurants. staff are friendly and pleasant to work with. Negative: not a dislike but the USB ports by the bed in room 217 were damaged and could not be used.

We were traveling with a school tennis team for a weekend tournament in the area. We had trouble finding rooms due to an event the same weekend even though we booked several months in advance, but found this property and were thankful we did. ||We were looking for a reasonable rate, clean property, proximity to our competition, indoor pool and breakfast.||The rate was a bit higher than I would have expected but was on par for what we were seeing in the area. The hotel was great to work with us on our tax exempt status however and did process all charges correctly to remove that which is a big savings for us as a public school - and a headache for them as I didn't indicate the number at checkin, so they had to reprocess all of the rooms the next day. ||The property was clean. This is the worst Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at. If you're expecting the normal Holiday Inn experience, you'll be disappointed. The room was dirty, nasty stuff stuck to the ceiling. The privacy blind was completely ripped off the window. I had to ask the front desk for duct tape which I used to tape the blind up so the window was not completely exposing the room. Service was great, but this place needs a lot of work to come up to normal Holiday Inn standards. If you looking for a solid, clean place to stay, this is not it.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the furniture was nice too! Felt luxurious but was very affordable. Everything was great, and the breakfast was AMAZING!! Genuinely the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, with so many options we came back for seconds and thirds to try everything. The staff was super nice and accommodating, Tiffany checked us in and we had a great conversation. The location is great too, not far away from the downtown area but just far enough to be out of the busiest places. Highly recommend!
