Holiday Inn Express Mt. Pleasant - Scottdale by IHG

I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years and have always considered it my go-to place when visiting the area. Unfortunately, this stay has been extremely disappointing. I made a reservation several months ago for a suite, but the hotel changed it to a king room without notifying me. The first room we were given had a clogged toilet and the HVAC was not working. We were then moved to another room where the TV only works intermittently. I contacted customer service because no one at the hotel seemed able to resolve the issues, but they offered no solution. After more than a decade of staying here, the lack of accountability and basic room maintenance is very frustrating. It also makes me question the point of making a reservation months in advance if the hotel can simply change it

I stayed at this hotel with my two adult children for a long weekend. |The hotel lobby was clean and fresh. The breakfast buffet was excellent and well stocked. The staff was lovely and quick to respond to any requests. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again. Shout out to Mary at the front desk, thank you.

Positive: One of the best breakfasts I've had at a mid-range hotel. Good variety, very clean & well stocked. You went into a small, private to get your food. That was a better arrangement than being out in the open where numerous people pass by. Negative: N/A

Room is very large, clean and comfy. Housekeeping staff communicates by yelling at each other up and down the halls. Not ideal when youre in town working 3rd shift. Wifi is unreliable

Lovely people especially with all the pressure they’re under with the winter storms and people not showing up! They are doing their best all while being kind and I couldn’t ask for more! Thank you so much to Ms.Wilma and Mr.Charles for the wonderful conversation and making this horrible week sooooo much more bearable!! Will absolutely be choosing this hotel again!
