Holiday Inn Express Miami Airport Doral Area by IHG

This hotel is well located in Doral, Florida. Marshall’s, Home Goods, City Place, Ross, CVS, banks, restaurants and more are walking distance from the hotel. Your stay includes shuttle service from and to the airport and a delicious breakfast. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Kudos to the hotel general manager Stiven Salazar and all the staff for making my stay safe and comfortable. I recommend staying at this hotel 💯%.

Positive: The room was awesome and you could see planes fly by but couldn't hear them. Negative: We had to wait to be checked on which he said he'd come get us two hour from that point. 2 1/2 hrs I went up which he had to call to see if the room was ready. Think this is why we got a wonderful corner suite. The kurig didn't work

Service was okay. We got a refund. The room was tiny, there were two beds, the sink was inside the room and not part of the bathroom. We left and went to the Mariott for $40 less. Two beds and a pull out day bed. Mini kitchen. Fridge. Stovetop. Kitchen table and chairs. Extra large bathroom. Door separating the living room. Couch. Chairs.

The staff was amazing. They recognized my long travel day and welcomed me beyond my expectations. Unfortunately, the room quality and cleanliness diminished this stay substantially. There was a leak in the wall between the bed and bathroom that soaked the carpet. This made the room damp. The room finishes were worn and dated, some broken. If i could rate on staff alone, it would be 10/10.

Stay far away from this hotel. The room was dirty but even worse, we had a flight cancelation so we had to cancel the first night. They said they would refund that night back and never did. I've spent hours on the phone with IHG which have been no help. I'd honestly stay far away from Holiday Inn period as they have gone down hill and now resort to stealing money.
