Holiday Inn Express Ludlow - Chicopee Area by IHG

We stayed here during our trip to visit with family, and because we have stayed here plenty of other times before in the past and had done a review some years back, but I'm doing another review because the hotel has done a complete remodel to all the rooms and interior hallways. However, the common areas on the ground floor and the complimentary breakfast area are all going to be done they said this coming week, the beginning of November 2025, and that it will perhaps not be complete until the Spring of 2026.||We were given room 336. The rooms look nice but I do feel that the closet is very small and could use a shelf, and also the location of the closet cabinet is on the wall where the TV is and blocks the person's view of the TV on the bed at the end. The bathroom has some empty wast

Pretty standard fair for an HIE, he won’t have any surprises. Wi-Fi speeds are better than expected 30 up 30 down roughly and the only real letdown was there’s no bar soap. Overall rated slightly above average against its peers and the same brand.

Positive: Staff that serve the breakfast work very hard to please the customers and the maids take very good care of cleaning the rooms Negative: The only negative thing is the breakfast that has biscuits instead of potatoes. I think they should provide potatoes every day and not switch to biscuits only. Maybe provide both for people that don't like biscuits.

We've been on a road trip and now heading home. This area was very pricey compared to some of the touristy places we had just been. We just needed an interstate stop over. But we found all the reliable things we expected here. They are remodeling currently but we were not there during any working hours. Our king +sofa room had already been redone. It was very large with an all new bathroom including a step-in shower. Plush bed with bedside electronic plug-ins. Microwave and mini freg area as you walk in the door. Was a quite area backed up to woods. Breakfast was well done and the area kept clean. A Taco Bell was in the parking lot. Many, many more food choices 1 Exit away.

Clean hotel. Very friendly staff. We got double queen on 2nd story. Nice breakfast. Nothing fancy, but accommodated our needs. Pool was very clean. Overall great experience.
