Holiday Inn Express Lorton by IHG

Had a quick overnight stay in the areas with my children. This hotel is in a great location. It's directly off of the interstate, nestled amongst a residential area so its pretty quiet. And a handful of small shopping strips within very close proximity. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. Check in was a breeze and the desk worker was nice. The rooms were clean so no problems there. We came down the next morning at 9:30am on the dot prior to checking out for some breakfast and there practically was none. While I understand breakfast ends at 10, there were still a good flow of people coming for breakfast. While not fully stocking all options back up, it would have been nice to have something to eat other than the picked over leftovers of just muffins and a few pieces of fruit. The only oth

I got fooled by this hotel. I paid for all amenities in advance and tried making sure there aren't any hidden charges. But, when I walked into the hotel, they charged $9 per night for parking which was not mentioned anywhere before. I had really no choice, was really exhausted and had no energy to go and explore other options around. This came as a surprise charge. Other amenities such as spa and indoor swimming pool would not work. This is a scam place. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The room services as charged in the fee were not provided.

the hotel was very clean and easy to get to the bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. sheila the lady at the front desk when we checked in was super nice and went out of her way to help us when the TV in the room didn't want to work right. the breakfast was hot and fresh and pretty good. over all a very pleasant experience.
