Holiday Inn Express Kansas City - Bonner Springs, an IHG Hotel

I called last minute to get a room for last night ( Saturday) I was especially looking for a room with a jacuzzi tub and to my surprise they had one left! The gentleman at the desk was so helpful and kind. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean. The room was just what we wanted and the tub… I think I’m spoiled now. This will definitely be my go to hotel for our staycations. ( we live only 10 min away) Breakfast was good and hot. 10/10. We will definitely be back soon

Positive: The location is great, and the clerks were kind. Negative: They had fox news on in the breakfast area! Put on the local news, or a kids channel having on any overly political trash is the last thing I want to see when I wake up. Do better.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express at Bonner Springs. Tony was so helpful and recognized us as Silver status customers. As always, our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was delicious. I always go back in after checking out with my travel mug to tank up with coffee before hitting the road. As a retired coffee roaster, I would think I know my coffee and in all the Holiday Inn Express's the coffee is great. Tony gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. At a number of Holiday Inn Expresses the counter people are wearing a Holiday Inn blue shirt. I'm wondering how one could purchase one of those. They look so comfortable and stylish. My husband and I love staying at this hotel whenever we're in the state. We use to stay at the Fairfield Inn Leavenworth, but now since we've found this hotel there are no comparisons, this is about our 4th stay. The rooms, and bathrooms are very clean, comfortable and fresh. The hotel has an excellent buffet style breakfast with a wide variety of food items, and the coffee is hot, fresh and good. Rey the night manager is an awesome guy. Rey is always so accommodating. He cares about his customers and appreciates their business. Rey has a way of remembering the little big things about you and that really shows just how much your appreciated and noticed.

This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express locations that I have stayed at. Harry was super friendly and courteous. The staff kept the room clean and tidied up much more often then other IHG hotels that I've stayed at in the past. The next time we visit family I plan on staying here. My only criticism is that while the pool is indoors, it's not heated. I would love it if they heated this indoor pool.
