Holiday Inn Express Hotel Atlanta NW - Powder Springs

On road trips we usually keep lodging simple. Most stops are just a one-nighter: sleep, shower, coffee, go. But this Holiday Inn Express surprised me. The bed was so comfortable that at some point during the night I genuinely thought I was in my own bed. That is high praise, because I am very much a Princess and the Pea sleeper. The hotel was clean and quiet, and breakfast was decent… although they really need to keep the bacon flowing. Even though I arrived early I found an empty tray, which felt like a small personal tragedy. The staff, however, was wonderful. When we arrived the young man at the desk was friendly and offered us several options to make my husband’s access through the facility simple and easy. My wife and I would like to thank all the employees at the Holiday Inn Express in Austell-Powser Springs Ga April 25 & 26 for such a nice stay. We were there for an Aunt and Uncle’s 60the wedding Anniversary and was quite pleased with our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great, and Makeda and Lori were outstanding. They were so helpful, funny and a pleasure to talk to. Since we had such a long drive and didn’t want to go far for dinner Lori recommended Bella Pasta and it was so good. Please pass this along to upper management so they are aware of how great their employees there are and should be commended. They truly provide excellent customer service.

A few years ago,this hotel would have earned a 4 or5,but no more. At least the room I had felt very run down. The furniture and Amenities are fine , it’s the carpet,tiles, and walls that need to be re-done. The carpet was old ,worn, and stained. || We had a problem with the toilet, which the maintenance guy fix quickly. I think his name was Malcom or Marcus, he was great and very friendly. ||The hotel isn’t horrible, but definitely could use an update. I used points for the stay and I think it was around 30,000 points, which was higher than the other IHG properties in the area. I would probably stay at another hotel in future stays.

Prior to this stay, I spent two days at the Hilton Tru. However, after just one night at this Holiday Inn, the quality of service, kindness, cleanliness, and professionalism shown by Nickie and Michael went far beyond a five-star rating. I absolutely loved the hotel and the people who work here. It’s rare to find such high-quality service paired with genuine friendliness that makes a stay truly unforgettable. If I could give 10 stars, I definitely would! Thank you all for an amazing experience and for providing clean, spacious, and welcoming rooms.

I had a great experience at Holiday Inn Express on 1/25, especially during the winter storm. Nann, who was new, went above and beyond to assist me. I initially asked for a room change because it was near the elevator, and she took the time to explain that it was actually one of the best rooms on the property and that the hotel was completely sold out.She was patient, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of despite the challenging conditions. Her positive attitude and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Nann, for making a stressful situation so much better!
