This place is a maze. If you want to take advantage of the breakfast, and if in any other building than building 7, the best route is to find the central courtyard and go downhill...same instructions for the pool. The hotel was within walking distance (5 minutes) to the commissary, AAFES and CL VI.

Need a Great Place to Lodge in Late 2024?||Look no further than the Holiday Inn Express, Hoge Hall, Fort Leavenworth. Once again I must praise the management and staff for all the quality services they provide to their guests. I believe most, if not all, upgrades and renovations are complete. This IHG facility features warm, quiet, roomy suites with full kitchens. The breakfast facility is the best I’ve seen and always a welcome experience. Some reviewers whine about multiple buildings and stairwells. I’m in my late 70’s and can readily manage where I’m going within the complex. Once you recalibrate your brain after a couple wrong turns, you’re home free for your stay. Book now!

My husband was an international student at CGSC from 2024-2025 and he lived in this IHG for the entire academic year. I spent a significant amount of time at IHG too. If we could give IHG Hoge Hall 6 stars, we would. We lived in what felt like a mini suite equipped with a kitchenette, microwave, tables & chairs, and a huge fridge. Rooms were cleaned weekly. Come snow or shine, we never had issues with the airconditioning, heater, water pressure or water temperature. Free coffee in the lobby, daily breakfast and multiple laundry rooms (free to use but do purchase your own detergent). Also conveniently located - just a stone’s throw away from the PX, Commissary and Trails West Golf Course. Rooms are nice and spacious. Kitchenette is nice. Staff was nice. Getting to elevator is weird in the building. Plenty of breakfast food and seating. Tuesday night social is a great idea.

It’s a massive hotel on a military base. It’s in a great location and the staff is phenomenal. My only frustration— the layout! Who did this? You just get lost the first couple days until you figure out how all the buildings connect. lol.
