Holiday Inn Express Campbellsville by IHG

Staff are great, no fuss checking in. Rooms are clean with plenty of towels. Spacious, and beds are comfy (depending on your preference I guess). Plenty of parking at front and back, with an entrance at the back once you get a key (although it isn't obvious that it is there). Right next to a Walmart so easy to go pick up stuff if needed. Only concern is with the road outside leading up to it, if you're driving in when it is dark, could easily miss the turn. Although first time in the states for me, so maybe it was just me. Would recommend some small reflectors or lights that could be stuck in thr ground to highlight the road. Can hear quite a bit of noise from neighbouring rooms and hallway, nothing overly loud, I can sleep through it. I in turn, wouldn't want to do anything to disrup

We stayed here 4 days to move our son into Campbellsville University. The front desk staff was friendly and offered water and cookies daily. Our room was turned down daily and we had fresh towels daily. The hall did have a funny smell but considering this was 2 miles from the college it was the best option for our stay close to CU. The free breakfast daily was nice and I lived the oatmeal with toppings.

I would say this is the best place to stay in town. Very close to the college and commercial part of town. Plenty of parking and easy access. Staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean but need updates.

Positive: The check-in clerk was very friendly. She was really the only one that was though. Negative: Called 2x and still didn’t get an extra towel, after 45min of waiting walked to get it. Breakfast was very disappointing, limited and then no eggs on 2nd day. Overall not a clean hotel.

Wifi did not work for the whole 2 weeks stay. The room service staff is annoying even the do not disturbing sign place on the door. Not recommended for stay. Knock on the door and tell the customer to get out of the room even the customer stated that the room is in use for the day. Weird smell in the room when check in. My recommended treat your customer privacy respectfully and professional.
