First of all, if you are working and your plans could change at all this hotel charges an early check out fee of $75.00. They dont tell you when you check in and when you check out again dont tell you just try and slip it past you. Ive been loyal diamond member with IHG and have never heard of this. Hotel says its corporate policy? Must be the only corporate hotel again Ive never heard of this policy. Took 4 calls to manager and 2 calls to IHG to get removed and was still an argument. After 2nd day of stay still housekeeping, no made bed, no trash pickup and no towels had to go down to front desk after 5:00 pm to get trash removed and fresh towels. Breakfast is a waste, no regular coffee creamer only flavored or 2% milk. Didnt bother with the food looked inedible. Also just looked at m
Wendy is awesome! She was more welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is clean and quiet and comfortable and newer. Plenty of places to shop or eat nearby. Great spot if you need to be midway between Atlanta and Athens.|Holiday Inn generally has the most comfortable beds and one of the best breakfasts
Positive: The location of the Hotel Negative: They truly need to do some updating in all the rooms the one we stayed in the floor tiles were cracked and busted loose was worried about cutting our feet The shower head needs to be fixed no water pressure, view was the roof off hotel from 2nd floor
I travel a lot for work and spend a good amount of time in hotels, so I’ve had more than my share of front desk check-ins over the years. Late-night arrivals especially tend to be quick and pretty routine. That’s why my experience tonight really stood out. Jennifer Marcus checked me in, and she was genuinely one of the warmest, friendliest front desk associates I’ve encountered in a long time. She came out right away to help me and greeted me with such a welcoming attitude, even though it was late. Instead of feeling like a tired, end-of-shift interaction, she made it personal and pleasant. Her energy and kindness completely set the tone for my stay. It’s rare for service to stand out this much when you travel as often as I do, and it honestly made me want to come back. I wanted to make
General manager argumentative and hostile towards my wife over a dispute regarding fees for animals/pets. Apparently, the fee is $40/day/pet. I thought it was $40/day for pets. I’m not disputing a misunderstanding of the policy, but rather the rudeness of the general manager and one other staff member. Not only will I not allow my employees to stay there, nor will I allow my family or my dogs to stay there who didn’t make a requirement to clean any more than they probably did. At check in, the lobby was so loud with other guests I must have misheard the clerk. However, it was a fairly clean and easy to get to place. The room was nice. The girl at check in was very nice and cordial. The breakfast was a usual lousy continental breakfast that was barely kept full of stuff, namely the bacon
